It is our dependence on God's grace (not just for salvation, but for everything) that empowers the Christ Life (Gal. 2:20-21). As we grow in relationship with Him, we deepen our connectedness with one another, and the freedom His grace affords us (Matt. 6:33) makes us available to participate wherever the Spirit may lead (Rom. 6:13). No longer having to live to meet our own needs, our dependence on Christ deepens community, and empowers His cause in our life. Everything we do is arranged around these critical relationships - Christ, Community, & Cause - in our life. |
